Naz
A training app for surfers working their way up to big waves: forecasts for 38 of the heaviest breaks, breath-hold and strength programs, and a training log.
Naz is a big-wave surfing app for surfers getting ready for their first 15–20ft days through to experts training for the biggest swells of the season. It's built around what a general fitness or forecast app can't offer: forecasts turned into breaking face height through each spot's swell window, breath-hold tables set from the surfer's own max, and drills that rehearse a two-wave hold-down.
It runs in four tabs: Spots (38 of the heaviest waves plus 9 step-up breaks, each with a ten-day outlook, reports, media and travel), Train (voice-guided breathwork, strength and mobility sessions, and standard or custom programs written by an AI plan builder), Surf day (warm-ups, kit and recovery) and Progress (a full training log, streaks, surf sessions and shareable cards).
One Expo codebase ships as the web app and as iPhone and Android apps, backed by a Node API on Railway for forecasts, tides and buoys, and Supabase for accounts and sync across devices. A companion surf game is built in Unity.
